UNA Hotels & Resorts: history UNA Hotel & Resorts was founded in November 2000 to create a new Italian
hotel group based on solid management skills.
UNA Hotels & Resorts immediately is positioned on the market as an innovative
player and a reference thanks to a strong identity defined through a careful and
thorough marketing and communication activities, and a clear strategic vision
of the management. The hotel is seen as the place to offer a wide range of services
not only for staying guests, but also for external guests who gravitate in the
territory. UNA Hotels & Resorts is pioneer of emotional marketing.
Development for external lines After detecting the significant business potentials of the Italian hotel market,
characterized by a highly fragmented offer, and conscious of the ever increasing
need for the hotel product to have a professional management, UNA Hotels &
Resorts soon realizes the importance of alternative formulas as, for example,
franchising and management, for its development.
Many hotels have chosen to optimize their growth by affiliating themselves with
UNA Hotels & Resorts using the franchising formula. These include UNA Hotel Il Molino in Benevento, the UNA Hotel Modena, the UNA
Hotel One in Siracusa and the UNAWAY Hotel Cesena Nord. In addition to the franchising
option, UNA has also launched a management formula, chosen by UNIPOL Gruppo S.p.A
for the management of UNAWAY Hotel Bologna Fiera and UNAWAY Bologna San
Lazzaro, and by the Salini Costruzioni Group for the management of UNAWAY Hotel
